I first met Ted Spencer in Avalon Beach , Sydney , back around 1973-75 . He started getting involved with the Hare Khrisna's I think . He didn't look like one . But he had a similar outlook or philosophy . I was from Bilgola Beach and I met him thru a friend . He was a very genuine nice bloke . I saw him surf Avalon a few times and he was a standout . Me being raised a Catholic , I would have talks with Ted on all sorts of life issues . I still watch his surfing in Morning of the Earth . I hope he's well and happy .
